As part of a research team at the University of South Florida College of Education, I design and develop eBooks in the IMapBook platform. Our team collaborates with high school and university courses to assess online discussions and reading comprehension. I create graphics, videos, avatars, and discussions to gamify learning and training.
After completing each course, I code and analyze the qualitative research data. I write the results of our research on improving online learning for educational journals and conferences. My most recent paper is titled, “The Loneliness Lesson: What the Pandemic Taught Teachers About Fostering Digital Communities with Interactive E-Books.” This proposal was accepted by the Association for Educational Communications & Technology in 2021. I edited this video for our conference presentation:
